HeliFlite
Receives Wyvern Seal of Approval
Fort Worth (March 31, 2004) HeliFlite
Shares has passed Wyvern Ltd.’s most rigorous audit
for both its fractional and charter operations. HeliFlite
operates Bell 430 and Sikorsky S-76B helicopters in the
New York City area and surrounding states.
“A Wyvern audit is confirmation to the traveling
public of the high standards we set for ourselves,”
says HeliFlite President Cary Brown. “It’s always
beneficial to be recognized by an independent authority.”
Wyvern conducts on-site audits that review all aspects
of operations, including: pilot standards, crew training,
operating procedures, operating history, maintenance and
record keeping.
HeliFlite continues to set the standard for helicopter
operations. All helicopters are flown by a crew of two,
with captains averaging more than 7,400 hours flight time.
Crews train regularly at FlightSafety International and
helicopters receive meticulous maintenance. HeliFlite was
the inaugural winner in 2002 of the Platinum Award for Safety
by the Helicopter Association International and has recently
won the award for 2003 as well.
HeliFlite launched the helicopter fractional ownership
concept in 1998. Today it serves the mid-Atlantic and New
England from a base at Newark Airport. Its fleet includes
Bell 430 helicopters in fractional service and a recently
acquired Sikorsky S-76B for charter.
