EXECUTIVE TEAM
Kurt E. Carlson – Chief Executive Officer
In March, 2012, Mr. Carlson was named Chief Executive Officer of HeliFlite. Kurt joined the company in July 2011 as its Chief Financial Officer and brought to the organization a long history of executive, operational and financial management successes across multiple industries. He has held CEO, CFO and COO positions in retailing, advertising, franchising and employment service companies and has served in a management consulting capacity to many companies. Kurt, who is a CPA, holds MBA and B.S. degrees from the University of Connecticut.
Francesco Lazzarini – Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations
Francesco Lazzarini has been with HeliFlite for six years serving in the role of both Chief Pilot and Director of Operations. He maintains flight status as a captain on both the Sikorsky 76 and the Bell 430. He has nearly 5000 flight hours in helicopters. His experience ranges from the military to Fortune 500 flight departments where he flew for multinational pharmaceutical companies and the oil and gas industry. In the navy, he completed wartime deployments to both Kosovo and the Persian Gulf. Mr. Lazzarini is a graduate of the Italian Naval Academy and an honor graduate of U.S. Navy Flight Training in Pensacola, Florida.
Daniel Prince – Chief Maintenance Officer
Daniel Prince has over 32 years of rotorcraft maintenance and corporate management experience, coupled with service in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a maintenance supervisor for the prestigious HMX-1 Presidential Helicopter Squadron. Having been with HeliFlite for over 10 years, Mr. Prince has been the only full-time Director of Maintenance since inception, providing long-term stability to the maintenance department. He holds an Airframe & Power plant (A&P) certificate with Inspection Authorization and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Eastern New Mexico University. He is also a member of the Bell Helicopter 429 Customer Maintenance Advisory Panel and the Helicopter Association International Technical Committee.
